The Xbox 360 was released in the year 2005. Detailed graphics, wireless capability and an enhanced multiplayer networking system gave original Xbox fans something to drool over. However, the bad news is that the console is filled with problems. Some users do not get problems, while others are flooded with them.

One of the more major system problems is one called The Red Ring of Death

What is the Red Ring of Death?

The red ring of death refers the to flashing red lights around the console’s power button. The error message indicates that there is a hardware malfunction within the console. You will not be able to play games or even access the dashboard until it is resolved.

How Can it Be Fixed?

With my experience in gaming I have come up with two solutions. Both of them will solve your problem, but one may work better than the other for some people, it all depends on how you wish to fix it.

Mail the Console Back to Microsoft – Microsoft repairs hundreds if not thousands of consoles each day. If your console is under warranty then you can have it fixed for free. If it’s not, then you will have to shell out $100 or more in order to have it fixed. Microsoft will not tell you how the problem was resolved and it will take around 4-8 weeks.

Buy a Repair Guide – Repair guides are a valuable source of information. They cost around $20-$30, but often come with a money back guarantee. If you buy a repair guide you will learn how to diagnose and fix the problems yourself, so if it should ever happen again you will know how to fix it.

If you are reading this article then chances are that your immunity to the Red Rings of Death has finally run out. The only solution now is to learn to fix your broken Xbox 360. Well I’m glad that you’ve found your way here instead of some website that is trying to either give you bogus information or sell you unreliable and risky methods to fixing your Xbox 360. The fact remains that until this day, there has not been a single reliable source of information that tells you how to permanently solve the RROD problem and fix your Xbox 360. I know this because I’ve searched high and low and through almost every web page on the internet. Looking for just one solid piece of information I have only come across a few sources that provide the fix that we 360 owners need.

Most of the recommended sources of information that you will find when you search Google are dangerous, risky, or unreliable at best. The first method that’s very commonly being touted as the “solution” is known as the “Towel Method”. This method involved wrapping your delicate console in a towel and letting it run until it overheats. The theory behind this is that if you over heat your system, the vital parts inside of your system that are broken will melt back together thereby fixing your broken Xbox 360. The problem with this is that overheating your system can pretty much fry your motherboard period. If that happens your Xbox 360 is a goner – I know because this very thing happened to me and I had to get a whole new Xbox 360.

The next method to fix your Xbox 360 requires opening up your system and soldering some vital components together thereby solving the problem. The problem with this method is that “soldering vital components” requires a bit of technical experience. If you’ve never used a soldering gun then I would highly recommend against the use of this method as you might make a mistake and have permanent glitches in your system. The last most common method to fixing your broken Xbox 360 is to consult with Microsoft.

This has got to be the most unreliable method that gamers have at their disposal to fix their Xbox 360. For one thing Microsoft’s customer service is awkward, long, and costly if you’re not under warranty. Aside from all of that sending your system off to some remote location in Texas to sit for two months if you’re lucky, sounds more like a gamble than a fix. And to make things better Microsoft has been known to only “temporarily” solve the Red Ring of Death error. Millions of 360 users worldwide have reported that only after a short period of time of getting their systems back the Red Ring of Death showed its ugly face again.

So because of all of the apparent nonsense that’s being handed off to people as “the solution” I am going to set the record and provide you with the one true permanent fix for the Red Ring of Death error. I know because it not only helped me, or my friends, but thousands of Xbox 360 users all around the world. You can now fix your broken Xbox 360 yourself, in the comfort of your own home, and be done and have your Xbox 360 fixed in under 1 hours time! Oh but you’re not a technical expert? Great! Even better! Because you don’t have to be. The fix is so simple and easy that it’s curious that Microsoft isn’t using it? All that will be required of you is to use a screw driver to take off the face plate, side panels, open your system up, make a small adjustment to the cooling unit and PRESTO – just like that you are done and your system is permanently fixed! And what’s even better is that video tutorials are provided so you can watch every step of the way as technical professionals who developed the fix walk you from start to finish. So take advantage of this revolutionary fix and get your system back up and running by today.

The Xbox 360 has a power ring which is nothing but the power button and the lights surrounding the power button. The lights are programmed to blink according the operating conditions of the console. The lights are arranged in a quadratic circle manner as a thin ring around the power button. The lights blink either in green or red depending upon the condition. Also the console is designed to display error messages on the screen when any problems occur within the console. Basically the codes are displayed in an alphanumeric fashion. The light blinks in green color when your console runs without any problem. But, in case any problem occurs it turns to red in color. Apart from this the number of lights glowing during an error also changes. There may be one, two, three or four lights glowing according to the situation.

DESIGN ASPECTS

Basically the hardware runs on two processors that are the CPU and the GPU. These processors are provided with heat sinks to absorb heat radiated from them. The problem now is many Xbox user have complained about hardware failure and also overheating problem of the console. The overheating is because there is no enough air circulation for natural cooling of the processor. Though the motherboard consists of an intercooler, the console is still facing the overheating problem. All these problems aroused because of poor design, insufficient testing and poor ventilation inside the console. This overheating has caused an error in the console. The error E 74 occurs on the screen when the console gets overheated. Also you can observe three red lights will be glowing in the power ring area. This problem is widely known as the ‘Red Ring of Death’ or RRoD.

REPAIRING

The console can be repaired in two ways. One is by giving the console to the Microsoft service centre or else repairing it by your own. Free service is provided by Microsoft for those consoles which are under warranty period. But, for others repairing is charged. One more draw back here is that you need to wait for up to 3 months to get your console back and hence you can’t even see your Xbox for the next three months. Few suggest a method called towel wrapping. This is done to ensure that the weak solder joints in the motherboard gets melted and gets fixed properly when you wrap a towel around the console and made it to run for an hour. But hardware experts say that by performing this kind of technique will damage the components in the mere future.

EASY WAY TO REPAIR:

The simple and the easiest method to solve this problem is by repairing the console by your own. For this you need to watch some videos from the internet which gives you a step by step instruction to repair the console. The main objective is that you need to remove the X clamp from the motherboard that supports the heat sinks. After which the heat sinks are fixed back in their appropriate positions with the help of a screw and blot. This ensures that your processor gets enough air and gets cooled naturally. The main advantage in this method is that you can do the repairing work within one or two hours so that it gets ready on the same day and you can start playing your favorite game.

Red light errors are nothing but the pre-programmed error messages that are setup in the memory of the Xbox 360 console and are made to pop up whenever there is a problem in the working of the console. These messages will help the users to know where the error has occurred. The error messages are in the form of alphanumeric codes. Each and every kind of red light error has its own code so that the users can also understand and solve the problem.

Red Rings of Death

There are many red light errors like the single red light, two red lights, three red lights and four red lights error. Out of these four types, the “Three Red Light Error” is the most dangerous one because only in this type there is possibility of the console’s hardware being damaged to the maximum level if left unnoticed. The Three Red Light error is otherwise known as the “Red Ring of Death” or simply as RRoD. The name is because they signify its hardware death.

Reason

Main reason for the three red light error to occur is the cooling problem. The heat sinks function is to cool the surrounding air when the air passes by its grills. The temperature inside the console due to its compact packing and hence the cooling was not sufficient. As a result the processors below the heat sink are getting affected. Out of the two important processors the graphical processing unit is the most affected area because of this problem. So whenever the problem arises, immediately there might be problem with the display. This clearly shows that there is a fault in the cooling system of the Xbox 360 console.

Solution

The three red light error can be solved by slightly repairing the hardware. The main objective is to provide adequate cooling to the motherboard. The possibilities of providing cooling to the system are by adding an additional inter cooler to the system and by removing the X clamps.

The repairing can be also done by giving the console to the Microsoft service center. But you need to wait for 4 to 12 weeks depending upon the number of incoming consoles. Microsoft won’t repair modded consoles at any cost. For this you need to get a repairing guide from the internet. These guides will help us to solve the red light errors. These guides are video tutorials so that they will explain the steps to be taken while repairing the console.

Instead, you can repair your console in your home with the help of repair videos which are available in the internet. The advantage in repairing the console on your own is that the cost of repairing is less and the time taken will be just an hour or two.

The Xbox 360 is a video game console where multimedia game software can be installed and played in the console. Now-a-days, almost all the devices that are built today are designed with the latest technologies available in the market. These technologies have reduced the size of the gadgets and showcases improved features in them. The Xbox type consoles are the latest consoles that are built with advance processors. The processors working speed is much greater than that of a personnel computer. With advance graphical processors the multimedia games looks great and looks very real. Though there is much applause for these devices, feedbacks from users are not satisfactory. The reason is the hardware problems in the console. Such a case has been reported with the Microsoft’s Xbox 360.

FEEDBACKS FROM USERS

Xbox 360 was introduced in the market in the year 2005. Since then many changes were made within the consoles hardware. Even the Xbox 360 comes with three different types of motherboards. The latest motherboard pattern has been reported with major hardware problem. The users have complained about the consoles overheating problems. The console gets overheated within a short period of time and pops up an error message on the screen. This error is accompanied with glowing of red lights in the power ring area. The error is known among gamers as the “Three Red Light Error”. This is also famously known as the “Red Ring of Death” or RRoD.

RED LIGHT ERRORS

The console is programmed to display error messages to the users then and there. When any problem occurs, the console operation is interrupted and an error message is displayed on the screen along with red light glowing in the power ring. The power ring is a thin ring shaped LED lights placed around the power button. There are totally four LED lights placed in four quadrants. The number of lights glowing during an error depends upon the type of the error. Generally, the number varies from error to error. The three red light error occurs because of the overheating of the console. The console consists of heat sinks which are placed over the processors to cool the hot air that are radiated from the region. The heat sink collects the hot air and cools them. The heat sinks are attached to the motherboard by means of two X clamps beneath the motherboard in order to give a firm support. Apart from the three red light error there are also other red light errors. These errors are not considered as serious as the 3 red light error as they do not cause much damage to the motherboard when compared to that of the three red light error.

REMEDIES

The possible solution to this problem is to provide enough air supply to the console, so that they always run in a cool environment. You can send your console to Microsoft by paying around $125 for the repair work and you need to wait for up to 3 months. Recently, many have tried to repair the console on their own with the help of a repairing videos and guides. These video guides are available in the internet and you can watch them and repair your console on your own with the help of normal household tools. These videos will be dealing about the various ways with which you can repair your Xbox and also about the removal of the X clamps from the motherboard. This is highly recommended by gamers instead of sending the console back to Microsoft.

Video gamings have grown drastically with the help of technology. They are having advanced processors that are similar to that of the personnel computer processors and come with inbuilt graphical cards. Xbox is one such gaming console introduced by the software giant Microsoft. The latest version is called as the Xbox 360 which has increased its processing speed to several mega hertz’s than the previous version and has come with increased storage space and DVD drive to change the game. The Xbox 360 has also shown improvement in the external interfacing of gadgets like joystick, guns, USB, etc.

HARDWARE CONFIGURATION

The Xbox 360 looks very slimmer than the Xbox and is very elegant, light weight and stylish. The outer surface has all the ports and DVD drive with power button surrounded by four quadrants of LED lights. The inner configuration of Xbox is that there will be two “X” shaped clamps over which the graphical processing unit and the central processing unit are mounted. Above which a part of the inner space is covered by the DVD and the rest are covered by the hard disk and the memory components making your processors jam packed. The processors are provided with inter coolers by means of a fan.

HARDWARE PROBLEMS
Since the Xbox 360 is introduced in the market there has been lot of complaints about the hardware failures. The most common complaint is the overheating and making the LEDs to glow red in color. You can play with your console only if the lights are green if not then you have a problem. There are also simple problems like the AV cable not connected properly with the console may also result in error. Now, the common problem occurring is the error called as e74. During which three red lights will be glowing. This kind of error may cause serious problems to the hardware. They call this as ‘red ring of danger’ or ‘3 red light error’.

RED RING OF DANGER

This problem has been taken to the Microsoft, and several attempts were made to solve this problem. But in the consoles which Microsoft has already sold, this problem exists. If it is under the warranty period then Microsoft itself fixes the error at free of cost. But, for other consoles you have to spend more than $125 and also along with the shipping charges to the Microsoft service centers. All the above you have to wait for about three or four weeks to get it back.

However, there is a solution to this problem. You can also repair the console by your own with simple devices. Only one thing you have to do, you need to watch the online videos which will show you how to do the repair work.

These videos comes with a ebook which will be very useful. Video tutorials and online demonstration of how to open the console is also there to help you. This gives a step-by-step process to remove each and every component from the console. The red light problem is due to lack of air flow to the processors. This may also due to reduced external ventilations also. Therefore, always keep your device in a cool surrounding. Now, you just need to remove the “X” clamps and keep the remaining components as such. By doing this enough air flows and cools your processors.

After finishing this close the console, restart it. Now you will see all the lights in green. Try this simple method instead of spending more money and wasting time.

Xbox 360 is a video game console introduced by Microsoft Corporation in the 2005. The Xbox 360 version is an advance version when compared with that its previous version. Basically, the Xbox 360 has been released with three different kinds of motherboard such as Xenon, Zypher and Falcon. The Xenon type of motherboard is the latest type released in the market. Many users have reported about hardware failure in the xenon type of motherboard. The xenon type motherboard has been affected by frequent overheating causing the GPU to fail and thus disturbs the working of the console.

RRoD

The RRoD stands for the Red Ring of Death. RRoD is a condition where your console stops working and displays an error E74 on the screen and accompanied by red lights glowing near the power button. The Xbox 360 has been loaded with some set of error codes in order to warn the user about its working obstacles. One such type of error is the E74. This error means that the hardware has been overheated due to long working hours or failure in the components in the motherboard due to weak solder joints. Apart from the three red light error there are also one or two or four red light errors. But, these errors do not affect the console very much when compared with that of the three red light error. The three red light error is considered to be the worst as it may permanently cause damage to the motherboard.

CAUSES FOR RRoD TO OCCUR:

The primary reason for the RRoD to occur is because of the overheating of the console. It is caused because of large power consumption by the inbuilt intercooler. As the power supply to the intercooler is taken from the motherboard’s main supply, the entire current flows through all the components of the motherboard. Another possibility to occur is because of weak solder joints resulting in failure of the processors to work in the motherboard. But, the major fact is that the heat sinks over the processors do not provide enough cooling as the heat developed over the surface is more than expected. The X clamp that holds the heat sinks are very tightly fixed to the motherboard causing less air to flow.

SOLUTION

The only way to solve the problem is to provide enough cooling to the processors. The X clamp are removed and fitted again by screw and bolt to the motherboard. This can be done by giving your console to the Microsoft service centers or you can do this at your own. When you give your console to the service centre the cost for repairing is over $100 excluding shipping charges and moreover you have to wait for up to three months to get them back.

There is one more way to get rid of red lights in your Xbox 360. You can repair it on your own and hence the cost of repairing is very less. Moreover the repair work will not take more than an hour. Do not worry if you have not repaired any electronic consoles or gadgets before. All you need to do is remove the X-Clamps. You can learn about this with the help of a repair video. This video will explain each and every step to repair your Xbox and hence you can repair your Xbox in just one hour and start playing the games again today itself.

When there is a problem within the console, then you will notice that red lights are blinking in the power ring instead of the green light. These are called as the red light error. The Xbox 360 is designed to inform the users the various kinds of error it undergoes during its normal operation. For example, when there is a loose connection between the console and the display, an error message occurs on the screen and also you can see a red light glowing in the power ring. The number of red light differs for each error. It may be one or two or three or even all the four. The lights are arranged in a quadratic ring fashion of four lights. When an error is displayed simultaneously the red light will glow.

TYPES OF ERROR

The one red light error is a normal kind of error. For this you can restart the console and the problem may get solved. Sometimes there may be some technical error like loose connections. When the AV cable is not properly connected then there will be two red lights glowing in the power ring area. The most damaging kind of error is the three red light error. It is commonly known as the “Red Rings of Death” or RRoD. The problem occurs because of the overheating of the console. When the temperature inside the Xbox 360 exceeds the normal withstanding capacity, the components inside gets affected and fails to work properly. This error sometimes may lead to the failure of the entire motherboard. This error is accompanied by three red lights in the power ring. When the error occurs, an error message E 74 is flashed on the screen interrupting the game in the middle. The error mainly affects the graphical processing unit and blocks the display resulting in a black screen without any video output.

METHODS TO SOLVE

There are various methods employed to solve the red light error problems. When the problem occurs you can give your console to the Microsoft service centers. If your console gets repaired within the warranty period, then the repair work is done at free of cost. But, if the warranty period is over then you have to pay for the repairing work. In addition to this when you are sending it to the service centre you have to pay for the shipping charges too. This is considered to be costly and also you need to wait for up to 3 months to get the console back from the service center.

The other way is to repair by our own which is very easy to do. For this there is no need for any complicated devices. A simple screwdriver will do the job for you. There are some video tutorials and repair guides available in the internet. These videos will explain clearly the steps to be done to eliminate the red light error. The advantage is that, you can save over $150 and can complete your repair work within one or two hours. This will also give you a permanent fix which is not guaranteed if you send it to Microsoft. Once finished repairing restart your console and you will observe all the lights are glowing in green color.

There are many video game consoles like Xbox, Playstation, Playboy, Wii, etc in the market. These devices are considered as branded as they come from specialized corporate companies. Xbox is a product from Microsoft Corporation and Playstation is from Sony and Wii is from the Nintendo. The latest product from Microsoft is Xbox 360 which was introduced in the year 2005. This product was introduced to give a though competition to the Sony’s Playstation 2.

PROBLEMS WITH THE X CLAMP

The device is reported with large number of console failure. After serious analysis it was found that the problem is due to the overheating of the console damaging the chips in the motherboard and thus the entire motherboard gets failed. The reason for the rise in internal temperature is due to insufficient cooling arrangements within the console. Because of lack of proper design, the console is designed with minimum ventilation. Also another reason is that Microsoft is in a hurry to introduce the product to the market as the Christmas is nearing, hence winter holidays will be good time for children to buy the device.

The problem is with the X clamp of the motherboard. The X clamps are those that hold the heat sinks in a position on the motherboard. By replacing the X clamp it is found that the heat is radiated outside very well than compared with its presence. Thus suitable arrangements are made to fix the heat sinks without the use of the X clamps. Because of this it had let to the rise of the red light error particularly the “Three Red Light Error”. It is otherwise popularly known as the “Red Ring of Death” or the RRoD. When the RRoD occurs the entire motherboard gets hang and when if users continues to work on the console with this condition it may sometimes lead to serious damages to the components of the motherboard.

SOLVING METHODOLOGIES

The console’s red light problem can be solved in two ways. The first method is that you can give the console to the Microsoft service center. The other method is by repairing the device by our own. The repairing at the service center will take some considerable amount time (can even go to few months) and it is also a bit costlier. But, when your console has a valid warranty plus unmodded console, then you can go for the first option.

The simplest method and the time saving method is by repairing the console by our own. For this you need to watch some video tutorials. The videos provide complete step by step instruction on how to open the console and repair it. This method is very economical when compared with that of giving the console to the service center and wait for months and spend over $100 for the repair work. Also you don’t require any sophisticated tools to repair the console. It can be carried out with simple household devices. This is the best method for repairing modded consoles too.

Removing X Clamps is just one way of repairing your console. There are certain other ways in which your consoles can be fixed. For example, red light error occurs even due to poor connections. You can fix this by making the connections in place. Your console may also be experiencing any small problems like this which do not required much expertise and time to fix the console. These techniques are also explained well in the repair videos.

There are countless numbers of Xbox 360 repair guides available on the Internet. Many competing products offer essentially the same content; the only real differences come in the name and the price. In this honest review of “Xbox 360 3 Red Light Fix; Pro Gamer Edition”, you are going to learn whether this particular repair guide is any better than the others on the market.

The “Xbox 360 3 Red Light Fix; Pro Gamer Edition” makes the claim that you will be able to fix your Xbox 360 in under two hours. Seeing as this is the main sales point of the product, this claim was the first thing that would have to be investigated. Luckily, there was a broken Xbox 360 with the red ring of death lying out in the garage, so this became the test victim. Using the videos and audio files provided with the “Xbox 360 3 Red Light Fix; Pro Gamer Edition” package, I attempted to carry out the repair method. One thing I noticed was that the method outlined in this repair guide seemed to be easier to carry out than ones in other repair guides. The videos were also of higher quality than most other products I have used. Using tools that I found around the house, and watching the video files more than once, it took me exactly one hour and twenty-three minutes to fix my broken Xbox 360. I was suitably impressed.

However, seeing as nothing’s perfect, here’s a round up of the less impressive features of “Xbox 360 3 Red Light Fix; Pro Gamer Edition” -

1. The price of this guide is slightly more expensive than its closest rivals at $29 USD.

2. The purchase and information page is quite cluttered and distracting.

3. An automated pop up appears if you exit the page without buying. However, it is well worth reading through the message that appears as it has a special offer and interesting information.

Here’s what else I did like about “Xbox 360 3 Red Light Fix; Pro Gamer Edition”-

1. The repair method outlined is effective and easy to follow.

2. All the claims that were made on the purchase page were actually true in my case.

3. Customer support is excellent.

4. There is a 60-day money back guarantee.

5. I got to play my Xbox 360 again!

Overall, “Xbox 360 3 Red Light Fix; Pro Gamer Edition” is the most comprehensive Xbox 360 repair guide that I have come across. The method works, and I highly recommend it to anybody looking to fix a broken Xbox 360 and remove the red ring of death.

The worst thing that has happened to me recently happened about a month ago. I was in the middle of an intense game of Halo 3 when all of a sudden my Xbox 360 just froze up. Yes, you guessed it; the Xbox got the red ring of death. When it happened I actually sat there with my mouth wide open. I remember a few of my friends telling me that this happened to their Xbox 360, but I never really thought that it would happen to mine.

I decided to call one of my friends with whom I was playing. He told me that it had also happened to his system, and that he had to send it in to Microsoft to be fixed. He told me this process took over a month, and it all started because the console overheated. Apparently, even thought the overheating problem is Microsoft’s fault, they won’t even send you a protective box to send back your 360 in. So, you will have the inconvenience of getting your own box and waiting a month or so to play Xbox 360 again.

I’m sure that you would not want this to ever happen to you, so here are some tips to help prevent this.

To prevent your console from overheating, make sure that it is in a location that will not trap heat. This means avoid putting it inside of an entertainment center where there are a lot of other electronics. My main problem was that my entertainment center was very hot when I went to go check on my Xbox. Make sure that the place you choose to leave your console has a good amount of ventilation.

If it is too late for you and you have already gotten the red ring of death, try unplugging your console and placing it in an area where it can cool down. Leave it for about an hour and then plug everything back in and turn it on. If this fixed your problem then great! If not, I’m sorry but you will be without an Xbox 360 for about a month.

If so, there is no need to get upset. Your Xbox 360 is not done for just because these warning lights are flashing. Luckily, there are Xbox RROD repair tips that can assist you in repairing your beloved game system. However, let’s first take a look at how to prevent the warning lights from flashing in the first place.

The red ring of death show up when the game system is overheated. You can overheat your game system by playing for too long of a time period or by having the system in a location that does not allow for proper ventilation. If either of these are the case, move your Microsoft Xbox 360 to a place where it is in the open and can get a lot of air. Never wrap a piece of cloth around your game system or you will block the vents.

You can also block the vents if you allow dust particles to build up on it, simply because you do not clean it. The purpose of the vents are to get rid of the heat that builds up within the game system. Therefore, if something is clogging the vents, the heat cannot escape and the temperature with in the device increases.

Unfortunately, If those three dreaded lights are flashing on the front of your Xbox 360, you have let the temperature rise to point of damage. With this in mind, let’s look at some Xbox RROD repair tips. Thankfully, you do not need to understand the console’s technical side in order to perform repair. All you need is some typical household tools.

In addition to a few tools, you have to get access to a reliable repair manual which you can use to see exactly what needs done for your repair. You also have the option of sending your game system back to Microsoft for a free repair, if it is still within the limited warranty time frame. However, to send it back, you are looking at having to go without your system for months on end.

Therefore, do not lose out on the exciting games you love to play by sending it into Microsoft, simply do the easy repairs for yourself in your own home, and quickly resume your favorite pastime, without losing much time at all!

Do you think your sanity is in question because you keep seeing the front of your Xbox360 with 3 red lights on it (also called The Red Circle of Death)? The good news on this is you’re not crazy, but the bad news is the lights probably mean your Xbox 360 is not doing well at this point. If you are seeing this “warning flag,” along with other problems, like graphical freezing and, on occasion, the entire system is shutting down, it’s definitely time for an overhaul of the Xbox 360.

Since you’re not techie person, your first thought may be, “How do I fix the 3 red lights on Xbox?” Don’t panic, as it’s not as hard as you might imagine. There are several ways to do this and I’ll tell you about them.

Your first step would be to start with the cooling system before anything else. Obviously, if your cooling system is acting up, or not acting at all, overheating the system would be a problem to check for. Currently the word is that overheating is a common problem with close to 25% of the Xbox systems. And the result of that problem is the red circles you are seeing.

Okay, if checking the cooling system didn’t solve it, let’s try something else. This next step would be what is referred to as the DIY approach. Again, no panic – it’s not that hard to do. And it it’s not going to cost you the an arm or leg, either. Another good point is you don’t have to deal with the Xbox 360’s techno aspects, either. Okay, here’s the optimum way to do it. Actually, this is the method most regular gamers, who also were asking, “how do I fix the 3 red lights on Xbox”, are told to use and end up repairing the Xbox 360 by themselves.

These are some answers to the question, How do I fix the 3 red lights on Xbox”. If you want to start back playing your games within an hour and never have to worry about getting the red lights again, click here.

Are you seeing the 3 dreaded red lights, better known as the red ring of death on the front part of your Xbox 360? Don’t panic. Flashing of these warning lights does not mean that your Xbox 360 is ruined. There are ways to some Xbox RROD repair tips that will help you fix it, but let me first dwell into how the ring of death can be prevented from making an appearance on your favorite gaming console.

Overheating of your gaming device causes the red lights to appear. Overheating is caused when you play for long hours or keep the console in a place which has little or no ventilation. If that’s the case, then take your Microsoft Xbox 360 out of that place and keep it in the open. Never keep it wrapped up in a piece of cloth.

You should also clean it from time to time so that dust particles do not block its vents. This is because, the vents force out the heat from within the console and if they are clogged then the temperature of the gadget would automatically increase.

However, if your Xbox 360 has flashed that deadly sign, and the situation has gone beyond the point of prevention. Let’s discuss how to repair the red ring of death on your Xbox 360. In order to fix your gaming system, you do not have to understand its technicalities. You only need a handful of easily available household repair tools.

But before that, you need to lay your hands on a decent repair manual which can walk you through the entire process. If your system is within the warranty period, you can also send it back to Microsoft for a free RROD repair. But that might mean parting with your system for several months.

So, if you do not want to miss out on the thrilling games for an extended period of time, do not send your Xbox to Microsoft, especially when you can easily repair it at home and resume unrestricted gaming without hardly any interruptions at all!

These are some Xbox RROD repair tips. If you want to repair the red ring of death on your Xbox 360 so that you can start back playing your games within an hour, click here.

Are you at your wit’s end as you are seeing 3 red lights, better known as The Red Circle of Death, on the front part of your Xbox 360? Well, for those who have not encountered such a situation, this is a sure sign that all’s not well with your Xbox 360. This warning bell, accompanied by other symptoms like system shutting down and graphical freezing would mean that it is time that you repaired your Xbox 360.

The question you maybe asking yourself is, “how do I fix the red circle of death”? Well, it is not as difficult as it seems. I have discussed below some ways how it can be done.

First, it would be wise on your part to deal with the cooling system. This is because, without a proper cooling system in place, it is highly likely for your system to overheat. Close to 25% of Xbox systems fall prey to overheating. And red circles follow as a consequence.

If you find the above mentioned method to be ineffective you can try a different method. It’s the DIY method. It’s not at all difficult. It won’t even cost you a bunch of money. It is simple and does not require you to dwell into the technicalities of the Xbox 360. This is the best way. And most gamers who asks, “how do I fix the red circle of death”, usually use this method.

If the above mentioned methods do not work, or you are not particularly excited about the idea of experimenting with your system, send your Xbox 360 back to Microsoft for repair. If your system is within the warranty period, Microsoft will repair it for free; otherwise, it will cost you $100. However, be ready to part with your system and miss out on exciting games for a very long time if you choose to tread this path. This, precisely, is the reason why you should keep this as your last option.

These are some tips on how to fix red circle of death. If you want to fix your Xbox and start back playing your games within an hour, click here.

Are you currently experiencing technical problems with your XBox 360? Would you like to know how you can easily and quickly fix the problems and be gaming again in under one hour? Imagine being able to fix your XBox 360 technical problems yourself and not having to send your XBox back to Microsoft and wasting time and money. The truth is, that a lot of the technical problems that you experience are not as complicated to fix as what you think. In fact quite the opposite really, Microsoft just don’t want you to know.

Most XBox 360 technical errors can be corrected by anyone if you know how. You don’t have to be a technology expert to know how, all you need is the right guidance. Whether you’re experiencing freezing, E74 error, graphic glitches, 2 red lights, 3 red lights or just that your console is overheating you can fix these problems yourself in the comfort of your own home. No more do you have to pay your standard fee of $140 plus shipping and handling to send your console back to Microsoft. If you know how to correct these problems you can save your money and spend the money that you would normally throw away on servicing your XBox 360 on games.

Knowing how to service your own XBox can also make you money. I know that might sound ridiculous however it is quite true. If you know the simple techniques you can easily buy broken XBox 360 console’s off eBay and repair them yourself and resell them for a nice profit.

With that aside, the most common technical problem that gamers encounter is known as the ‘Three Red Light Error’. It has been found that the failure rate for this problem is above a staggering fifty percent. Most people believe it to be a result of overheating however the main cause is due to an engineering flaw on behalf of Microsoft. The ‘Three Red Light Error’ is in fact an electrical malfunction which has been built into the XBox 360.

A common method but incorrect and somewhat dangerous method to fix this problem is to wrap a towel around your XBox for twenty minutes while it is on. The logic behind this is that your XBox 360 will overheat as there is no ventilation for the heat from your CPU to escape and therefore the solder remelts and temporarily fixes the electrical connection. However, what people don’t realise that at the same time, all other electrical connections are heating up within your XBox 360 and will eventually destroy your XBox for good. In saying this you should not use this quick fix method.

To learn how to simply and safely overcome this common Xbox 360 problem or any Xbox 360 technical problem yourself visit http://www.diyxbox360repairs.com.

The Xbox 360 red lights error is causes by heat. This could be a pretty tough problem to fix, and that’s why many people will say to you that you need to send your console over to Microsoft and pay $150 or use your warranty. But, is this true…? Fact is that the Xbox 360 red lights error is one of the toughest problems to fix, but this doesn’t mean that you can’t repair it.

Here some tips that may solve the Xbox 360 red lights

1) Put off the console, wait 20 minutes, and put it back on.
2) Check for any loose cables.
3) Plug out all the cables except the power cord, and plug them back in.
4) Take the hard-drive out, and put it back in.

Didn’t these tips solve the Xbox 360 problems? Than you have to choose between 2 options. Send it over it to Microsoft, or do it yourself with a step by step repair guide.

Fix Xbox 360 red lights by Microsoft? Do, or Don’t?

Many people are telling you to do this, but I don’t…. Why? Because Microsoft should be ashamed of themselves… They caused the Xbox 360 red lights problem, and now they let you pay for it…

You’ll have to pay $150 for the repairs if your warranty has been expired. Also, the waiting times are horrible. You have to wait between 2-6 weeks before you can get your console back.

Fix Xbox 360 red lights by yourself with a repair guide.

Many people have probably told you that it’s impossible to fix the problem yourself… Am I right? Well, it’s definitely possible to get the problems on your console fixed, but it requires some effort from your side.

It’s recommended to use an Xbox 360 repair guide if you want to fix this problem yourself. But, this is not for free, but it isn’t expensive either. This guide will walk you through step by step so you’ll be able to get rid of the troubleshooter on a fast and easy way.

If the tips that I’d gave you didn’t work, than you have to either send your console over to Microsoft, or you actually fix the Xbox 360 red lights yourself with a repair guide.

Why would you wait 2-6 weeks and pay $150 for the repairs, if you could do it yourself with the use of an Xbox 360 Repair Guide?

I’d recommend you to do it yourself with the use of a repair guide. This way, you won’t have to pay $150 for the repairs and there’s no need to wait for 2-6 weeks either. You could better spend that money and time on games… Right? Be smart, do it yourself with an Xbox 360 Red Lights Repair Guide

If you are a gamer and you have an Xbox 360 console, then you could end up experiencing some technical problems, at least once in your life. This is because the Xbox 360 console is known for having technical problems. When the power light on your Xbox 360 turns from green to a combination of red lights, this is called “The Ring of Light.”

There are many reasons as to why the Xbox 360 has the ring of light. One of the first reasons would be a hardware failure. You will be able to easily repair the console by turning the Xbox 360 off, disconnecting the cables, then reconnecting them and turning the console back on.

Another technique you can use to repair the red light problem would be to turn your favorite gaming console off and take the Hard Drive out. After you have taken the console out, it would be a good idea if you turn the console on and see if there is one red light error.

If the one red light error is still occurring after you have done what we have suggested in the above paragraphs, then it would be a good idea to call Microsoft’s technical support. Technical support is open 24/7 and they will be wiling to help you with whatever problem you have. Before you send your gaming console into Microsoft, we recommend you looking into a Xbox 360 repair guide in order to fix the problem. Remember, once you open up any gaming console and it is under warranty, you will be voiding the warranty. Microsoft has their ways to tell if the console has been opened up before.

If you are reading this you are no doubt experiencing a Red Light on Xbox 360 issue. Issue? That is stating it mildly… It is more like a major disaster to most serious gamers! You might even consider it the end of the world. I’ll bet you are even considering buying a new one.

A friend of mine did that… bought a new one then forgot about fixing the first one and guess what? Yep, the second one did the same thing… he was fragged by the feared RRoD!

There has to be a better solution and no… switching to a PS3 would be…well… just not right, after all, you love your Xbox 360 games!

Since getting a new one doesn’t really solve much and it will cost some hard earned money that maybe you don’t have at this time, I will tell you of the other two options open to you. I am also going to briefly explain the cause behind the blinking red light on Xbox 360 s.

If you have 4 red lights on the power ring you’re in luck. That means your Xbox 360 isn’t detecting an AV cable. Might be just unplugged or need to be cleaned. If that doesn’t work that borrow another or but a new one.

1 or 3 red lights on the power ring indicate various types of hardware failure. You may even see an error code on the screen. E64 is a DVD drive error; E67 is a hard drive error and so on. Fixing it may be as easy as reloading the disk or a good old reboot. However, if you are reading this I’ll wager you already tried that and it didn’t work. Your solution is going to be a little more involved but have no fear… it’s completely doable. See your two options below.

2 red lights means your Xbox is overheated. This can make your console not function for a period of time. Unplug, take a break, and let your brick cool down. It should work again when it is cooled. Make sure your console is on a hard surface (not carpet) so air can get underneath, and in a well ventilated area. The overheating of an Xbox is actually rooted in a couple of design flaws and if this problem persists you will have to take some additional action. Again, the two options below.

Your two options if your Red Light on Xbox 360 issue persists:

1. Return your Xbox 360 to the manufacture. The manufacture has recognized various design flaws and is willing to address them. They have extend warranties from one to three years. The warranty is only good if your console has not been opened or tampered, so if you have been a bad boy (or girl) and nosed around inside your brick your warranty is no longer valid. If everything is still sealed then call 1-800-4MY-XBOX and check and see if you are still covered. If you are it is free. If not they will still repair but it will cost you around $150 (ouch!). Remember, the manufacture reserves the right to fix your console or replace it with a refurbished or new one. Down time: 2-4 weeks (bummer).

2. Fix your Xbox 360 yourself. This might seem a bit frighting at first but it really isn’t. You might feel that fixing your Red Light on Xbox 360 issue is beyond your abilities. Well think again. If it is not under warranty and you don’t have $150 or the time to wait this option starts looking better and better. If you have a quality guide and know the problems, fixing your Red Light on Xbox 360 issue will be a snap.

The key is to get a good quality guide, one with not only written instruction but also Video. This type of instruction has helped 10s of 1000s to fix their Red Light on Xbox 360 issues in as little as an hour… for less than $30!

Like usual, good common sense is the key to success. By identifying the problem and weighing your options then taking some action, you can have your Xbox 360 up and running in no time. Maybe without spending a bundle! Once resolved you will never have to worry about any Red Light on Xbox 360 issues again.

Don’t get PWNED by the RRoD! Don’t let down time revert you to NOOB status. Recover your Game Face by getting an Xbox Ring of Death Fix. Get that Brick Fixed for good.

Unfortunately for many gamers it means many hours of repairs and huge amounts of money spent for fixes. The good news is you don’t have to be one of those who had bad experience when it comes to fixing their Xbox console.

Xbox 360 gaming console has a set of lights around the power button. When they flash in green everything is in order and you have nothing to worry about. What happens, though, when you notice your Xbox 360 red light blinking?

Obviously you cannot simply ignore the problem as red lights are always a sign that something is going wrong. What you need to do if you see any of your Xbox 360 red lights blinking is to take some action.

In order to make the right step at this stage first you need to know what each of the Xbox 360 red light blinking means.

If you see only one red light on, this means there is some kind of system failure. The problems here may vary from soldering, component failure, problem with cooler, etc.

If you see three of the red light on, than you are facing the so called “Red Ring of Death” problem. As any other problem it is not that hard to fix by yourself.

If you see two of the lights on in red, than you have an overheating problem. All you need to do is to turn off the console for some time and wait for it to cool.

If you see all of the four Xbox 360 red lights blinking you must check your AV cable as four lights on signify a cable problem.

As you can see red lights are not the end of world. However it is natural many of you to feel reluctant to try fix their consoles alone and would rather call support and spend money on repairs.

Instead, you can simply get a guide to help you deal with any Xbox 360 problems by yourself. There is a very good guide available – XBOX 360 Red Light Repair Manual, which many people find useful specifically because it is written in an easy to understand way and also includes videos. Try it and you will see fixing your xbox 360 red light blinking problem is just a piece of cake.

So, you’re looking to fix your broken Xbox 360?

How did I know?

Probably because 10% of all Xbox 360s will develop the dreaded Three Red Lights, commonly referred to as the Red Ring of Death (RROD).

And the sad thing is, Microsoft has done very little to help the gamer community. We fork out 200 dollars or more for a product that’s almost guaranteed to fail, and then are squeezed into paying expensive and (what should be) unnecessary support from the company.

So What’s the Answer?

When it comes to the Three Red Lights on Xbox 360 Fix, you have 2 choices:

1. Send the console off to Microsoft, pay for expensive repair services (not including costly shipping costs), wait 4-6 weeks for them to ship it back, and deal with horrible customer service along the way.

-or-

2. Fix it yourself.

Fix it Myself! Are You Crazy?

Don’t freak out, I’m not crazy.

Contrary to what you might think, fixing an Xbox 360 is really easy. You don’t have to be a computer genius or a technical guru. All it takes is a few tools you’re bound to have around your house, some time, and a guide with step-by-step instructions to idiot-proof the process.

The reason that you get those three red lights on Xbox 360 is because of something called an X-clamp.

The X-clamp holds the graphical processor in place and when the system gets too hot, it flexes and causes you to get an error message – three red lights.

What About my Warranty?

So you’re still under warranty? That means you’ll pay to have your 360 shipped off, wait 4-6 weeks, then get a refurbished system back that will most likely give you those same three red lights in the near future.

You Said it Takes a Few Tools. What kind of Tools?

For the three red lights on Xbox 360 fix, you’ll need nothing more than a screwdriver and a knife to pop the case off.

How Long Does it Take?

Got 45 minutes to 1 hour? Then you can have your Xbox 360 up and running just like new.

How Much is a Repair Guide Going to Cost?

The Three Red Lights on Xbox 360 Fix Guide that I use costs $30.

That includes pictures, step-by-step videos, online support, and a money back guarantee.

That’s right, if it doesn’t work (if you start watching the videos and still think you’re in over your head) you can get a full refund.

So my question to you is what’s the risk?

You’re 360 isn’t going to start magically working again. You’re going to put more money in Microsoft’s pockets if you send it off to them. And you’ll have to wait a month or more to get your console back, on top of that! So why not try fixing it yourself. I did, saved a fortune, and want to help everyone else do the same.

Did you know that it can cost over $130 to have Microsoft repair your Xbox 360. And that’s still not guaranteed to fix the problem.

Can you afford that? Should you pay that?

Of course not, when you can fix it yourself!

It’s easy, it’s cheap, and it’ll have your system up and working within the hour. Click Here for the three red lights on xbox 360 fix right now!

We are talking about the three dreaded three red lights that appear on the Xbox 360 more commonly known as the red ring of death or RROD.

The three red lights are not something unusual facing Xbox 360 owners. In fact Microsoft has stated that 1 in 3 systems will suffer this fault. That’s over 3 million units in the US alone! No wonder people are frantically searching for away to fix this error. The problem is that these fixes are often not the best way about it.

There are plenty of methods going around on how to fix the three red lights on your Xbox 360 and it doesn’t involve a towel, overheating your system or even sending it off to Microsoft.

The overriding factor as to why the error occurs is due to the system overheating. One common method to fix the error on the Xbox is by wrapping a towel around the system forcing it to overheat and then hopefully work like normal again. By using this method however you will actually make the problem worse in the long term and cause significant long term damage.

The other common error made by distraught gamers is sending it off to Microsoft. One of the problems here is that Microsoft will hold on to the system for up to 3 months while they fix the issue, leaving unhappy gamers waiting to start gaming again. On top of that, if the system is a few years old then prepare to be charged several hundred dollars just to get it fixed as well as the time spent fixing it.

Specific three-red-light repair kits are undoubtedly the best way to fix your damaged Xbox. These kits can be purchased online and not only are they relatively cheap, they will show you exactly how to repair the system. It’s pretty straight forward and in most cases the full repair will take under an hour. Best of all the fix is safe and will not damage your system unlike some other methods.

For a full review of the best xbox three red light fix Kits you can visit: http://www.Xbox360FixIt.info

I forgot when to eat and when to sleep and most of time was spent with the Xbox. All was fine for a couple of months until one day my Xbox just refused to start. I could see three red lights flashing on it and the console behaved as if dead. That is when the worst began. Running after Microsoft to get it repaired and waiting for it to come back without a permanent resolution was all a killing experience and for once I felt I made the wrong decision by deciding to buy the Xbox 360. I got to know that something called as ‘the Xbox 360 three red lights fix’ was only a myth.

What is the Xbox 360 three red lights fix all about?

This problem is otherwise called as the “red ring of death” or, the “RROD”. In this situation, three lights flash red on the Ring of Light (RoL) on the front of your Xbox 360 console. The upper-right quadrant light is the only light that does not flash red. The three flashing red lights normally indicates that there is a hardware problem with your Xbox 360 console. Since its initial launch, the Xbox 360 has been criticized by every reviewer, including the media as the system constantly overheats, is poorly manufactured, and is too unstable.

What are these Ring of Lights?

These ring of lights are normally flashing green. But if for some reason these green lights start to flash red, then there could be a problem – major or, minor. the minor problems can be resolved from the comfort of your home. The Xbox 360’s ring is divided into four separate quadrants. Each division turning red indicates a separate problem, all with a different way of resolving the issue. The initial troubleshooting steps involve switching off your console and unplugging and replugging all the cables.

If all of the lights but the first section are flashing, this means a general hardware failure has occurred. In such a case there is not much that can be done. You can try to unhook and reattach your cables to check if normalcy is restored.
If the problem is indicated in the second quadrant of the system, it is because of overheating. This could be because of continuous play and the proposed cure is to unplug the unit from the power supply and let it sit to cool down. You can try to place the console at a better place where it gets enough air so that it doesn’t get heated.
A problem appearing in the third quadrant of the Xbox 360 ring of light is diagnosed as a hardware failure and would require technical assistance. You can try unplugging and re-plugging the cables but that doesn’t help much.
If all four lights are flashing on the front of your console, then the fix is easy. This is an issue with the AV cable not being properly inserted into the back of the console. Just make sure the cord “clicks” once it has been inserted into the unit and this should resolve the problem.
If it is the three lights that are flashing red except the one at the upper right hand corner, we call it the Red Ring of death and then the Xbox 360 three red lights fix is normally only at the Microsoft Service Center.

Before calling up the service center though, you should try – unplugging and replugging all the cables and letting your Xbox rest for a couple of hours so that it cools down completely. A few users have suggested an easy Xbox 360 three red lights fix. This is by wrapping the Xbox console in a moist towel. Though this has resolved problems of a few of my friends as well, i am not too sure if this is an appropriate solution or, not.

I had read a few Xbox 360 three red lights fix in certain “Xbox repair guides” that are available on the internet today and found that they were very useful. At least my Xbox is working fine and I have not had to go through the pain of sending the Console to Microsoft Service Center, the way I did in the initial couple of times. There are a lot of reviews of these guides as well, which proved helpful to me at least.

You must have heard of some problems which are associated with a Xbox 360 machine or console. Errors are usually displayed if the console is in suitable condition. If the console has totally gone destroyed then you probably won’t be able to recognize what has actually happened with your Xbox. Whatever the problem is with your Xbox, you have two options: Either to send the Xbox console to the Microsoft repair center or to repair it by yourself.

If you repair it by yourself, though you can save a good sum of money but there are very less chances that your Xbox will really get repaired. Basic problems like loose plugging and power supply failure can be solved on your own. But if the problems are beyond these, you really need assistance of some professional.

Two most important and most common problems which occur with Xbox 360 console will be discussed in this article.

1. Hardware related problems and Several type of failures:

If your Xbox console is equipped with any software problem (which can be solved easily), then your machine can probably have some hardware failures. Hardware failure can be of any type which includes hard disk drive failure and power supply failure. Hard disk drive can have loose connections or have got bad sectors due to corrupted and unnecessary files. Therefore, you should be careful while choosing DVDs for your Xbox console. They should be legitimate and reliable enough.

Hardware related problems can only occur with your console and you don’t need to worry about anything else. As soon you receive any error from the Xbox console, you should immediately turn off the system and check for all possible hardware problems. Getting the code of the error can allow you to sort out the problem more quickly. Repair guides are available which contain all of these error codes with possible correction techniques.

2. Power Supply Failure:

Power supply failure is another very important and common problem associated with the Xbox 360 console. Troubleshooting with your power supply unit can be very dangerous and you should keep yourself away from this. It can totally ruin your Xbox console. What you should simply do is replace the power supply unit of the Xbox console and you will be done. But first you should make sure that the problem is only associated with the power supply unit. And, if you are unable to make such sure, then you should transfer the Xbox console to the Microsoft repair center. They can easily detect the problem and can solve it within no time. But you are required to pay a fee of about $150 with your console to repair it. Obviously, everyone can pay this little amount to save their lovely Xbox.

Xbox 360 had been a very good gaming console, and we knew that it performed way better than pS3. But, recently there is a lot of issue around Xbox 360 red rings of death. From the red rings of death error causes to Microsoft’s promise to temporary fixes all over the net and to final solution had been gaining a lot of attention. So, lets discuss on the problem and its possible solutions in this article.

The real cause for red rings of death is not known to 100% accuracy, but the most discussed cause is “overheating of Xbox” and Microsoft failing to adopt proper cooling mechanisms within the Xbox. This has lead Microsoft into real problems and widespread hatred. Lets see what Microsoft is upto regarding this issue.

So, does Microsoft stand upto defend its product? Yes, indeed. Microsoft has promised to replace or repair all the consoles which are affected by these dreaded red rings of death error. But again this problem doesn’t seem to be fixed. Even after replacing some of the consoles, the new console again proves to have the same problem. Even the Xboxs which were repaired and sent back again felt victim for the dreaded “Xbox 360 red rings of death” problem. So, is there a solution, Read on…

There seems to be a wide spread temporary fix for this problem all over the net. Its the infamous “Towel Method”. Yes, I have tried it on my Xbox 360. Do you know what, It Works! But just after two or three days the red rings of death problem arises again. But, it can fixed temporarily again using the same method. My serious recommendation would be to not use this method. Its like sabotaging your own Xbox. This method will cause more serious problems in the long run and its not a permanent fix either. I recently found a permanent fix for this problem.

Yes, there is a permanent fix for the problem of “Xbox 360 red rings of death”, and has nothing to do with involving Microsoft either. I found out a guide online which gave me the exact methods to repair my Xbox with just some tools which can be found in the household. It had clear step by step video instructions on how to fix my console and abolish red rings of death problem. Now am happy that I found this guide and can play my halo3 again in my brand new Xbox with out those ugly red rings of death.

Do you want play those magnificent games,I personally like halo3 ,again in your Xbox 360 just 2 hours from now? Does it sound like heaven; yes it really is, if you are hard core fan of Xbox 360 like me! Click here to get the repair guide which made it all possible. Kudos to it.

If you own a Xbox 360, then you must have faced some problems like red light on the console and no video error. Similarly, open tray error is also very common and occurs every now and then as it is not a very big problem. In fact, you can get the problem solved by just restarting your console. Therefore, you should not worry about it and start with a peaceful, patient and calm guide. Whenever you get a problem with your Xbox, you only have two choices to deal with. Either you send the Xbox 360 console to the Microsoft repair center along with the $150 fee, or repair the Xbox 360 console by yourself. The former option is reliable, trusted and experienced but the latter option only has less than 10% chances of success. Therefore, it’s up to you where to go.

Send to Microsoft Repair Center:

Sending your Xbox Console to the Microsoft Repair center can get a little bit pricey but that’s guaranteed. As also stated earlier, you are required to send $150 fee along with your Xbox console as well in order to get it repair. This is because of the reason that any of the hardware components can get stuck and that will be needed to repair. Therefore, if you want to save your lovely Xbox at every cost, then you should go for this option.

Repair yourself:

If you have decided to repair your Xbox by yourself, then you have several safe as well as dangerous options. Going into dangerous options increases the probability of both – getting your Xbox repaired or get it completely ruined. Here you will be given some safe methods to safely recover your Xbox from open tray error.

1. Restart your console:

If happens often that the hardware or latches get some error in its microelectronics and eventually you get an open tray error. But you should not worry about it. Many of the open tray errors get corrected only by restarting your console. What actually happens when you restart the system is that all the things get refreshed from initial values in their microelectronics and you again get a completely new system to operate. Open tray errors are mostly solved by only restarting the system.

2. Check loose cables:

Cables can also get loose from your Xbox 360 console. This can also end up with an open tray error. Therefore, what you should do is to check for all the cables of the Xbox system. There can be any lead or cable loose or plugged out due to any reason. You should not directly plug in directly the cable into the system. You should first turn off the Xbox system completely, take out the cable completely and then plug it in gradually. Make sure the plug is completely fixed and immovable. Now turn on the Xbox system. Probably you may have ended up with the open tray error.

3. Take out hard drive:

Similarly take out the hard drive and plug it in again more than one times. It is the last option to repair the open tray error of your Xbox by yourself. After that, you should give your Xbox to the Microsoft repair center.

Living with Xbox 360 can leave you up with several problems and faults which you are required to repair at every cost. The problem can be anything from a no video error to a red light which may appear indicating something bad. This red light error is also known as E74 error. This is some code which is given to the error or similar response from the Xbox console my Microsoft. The Xbox 360 faces the red light problem mainly due to overheating. If you Xbox console is not kept in a cool enough place, and get overheated frequently, then there is a probability that you can get this red light error. To avoid this red light error, first of all you should remove your Xbox console from the place where it is kept right now as it is very essential for the overall health of your Xbox. Overheating can also completely ruin the components of your Xbox 360. Freezing is a similar problem but does not arise from keeping it in a heated place.

When you have unluckily received this red light error, now you should begin your journey towards the repair of the problem. In fact the best, the cheapest and the most reliable option to repair your Xbox 360’s red light problem is to send the Xbox 360 console to the Microsoft repair center. They have talented and skilled engineers to repair your Xbox console. If you are electronics’ curious or something like that, then there’s no harm to implement your engineering skills on an out-of-warranty Xbox 360.

Sending to Microsoft Repair Center:

As also stated earlier, it is considered as the best option to save your lovely Xbox console. But you should remember that unless your Xbox 360 is not in the warranty time period, you will not be able to get the repair service for free. If you Xbox have got stuck within your warranty period, then either Microsoft will repair your current console or will give you a new Xbox console if your current console is not repairable. A fee of around $150 is required if you send your Xbox console for repair. But if your Xbox console is in warranty, you can avail the repair for free.

Red Light Fix by yourself:

Several repair guides of Xbox 360 are available in the market for several sort of problems. You may also find a repair guide for no video error and also for red light fixing.

There can be a number of problems associated with your Xbox 360 console. You should not need to worry if you face a red light problem or a no video error problem or an open tray error. You should either send the Xbox console to the nearest Microsoft repair center or should try to have basic checking by yourself. There can be minor problems that you can possibly solve on your own. But greater and technical problems require several engineering methods which can only be found in the Microsoft Repair center. In this article, few major problems that arise every now and then are discussed.

1. DVD Drive error:

If you receive an E64 – E66 error on your Xbox console, then you should not worry because you are not into a very great problem. This error shows that either your DVD drive is not detected or not in working condition. DVD drives do not get ruined that often therefore you should be calm and patient. What you should actually do at once is to check for any possible loose connections in the system. There can be leads which are loose to the DVD drive. You should first turn off whole of the system with the main power as well. Then you should remove the DVD drive cable and then plug it again tightly. This will most probably solve your problem.

2. Hard Disk Drive Errors:

If you receive errors as E67 – E69 or also E79, then you should worry a little bit as it can have a major problem with your Xbox. These errors show problem with your hard disk drive. Like every personal computer, Xbox also arrives with hard disk drives and the hard disk drives of the Xbox are much more similar to that of personal computers. They can also receive bad sectors or corrupted file. These are the main reason why you get these errors. The plugging can also be loose at the joints. Therefore, initially you should check for the wirings and any possible loose connections. If they all are okay and you are still receiving the same error message, then you should check your hard disk drive for any corrupted file or bad sectors. Either you can do it by taking it to some professional expert who can do the work for you at cheap rates or can try yourself if you have a proper guide.

3. AV Cable:

When you receive error number E74, then you should really get cool without any mishap. You are just required to change your AV cable. AV cables get fail thus no proper supply of current is given to the Xbox console. Therefore, you should immediately change the AV cable. The AV cable is very cheap and can be found at any local console stores or from RadioShack as well.

Have you ever gone through the dreaded experience of having the “red ring of death” render your Xbox360 useless? If you have you’re probably very frustrated with the situation, seeing as you paid three hundred plus dollars for your console, and now you can’t even use it! Well don’t feel too down, because it CAN be fixed!

More than fixed, it should be completely prevented all together. Here are some things you can do to prevent your Xbox 360 from having to go through such an ordeal:

Try to keep the Xbox in a cool room. Most of the time the red ring of death is caused by overheating, and this can easily be prevented by keeping the console in a well ventilated area. You should also try not to play with your console for very long periods of time. If you play everyday for 6-8 hours a day non-stop, you can expect some problems with your console eventually.

Another reason why you may experience the red light error is because of dust build up on the microchip of the GPU and CPU. This is also caused by poor ventilation. You can’t prevent this from from happening by keeping the console off of dirty surfaces, and keeping it in a well ventilated room. When dust build up occurs there are several ways to clean the chips up and get the system back up and running in no time.

Whatever the cause may be, just remember that it is not impossible to fix, and there is always hope for your console. You should never resort to throwing your console away, and you should always try to fix it yourself before sending ti back to Microsoft, because it will take several months for you to get your console back, plus you will have to pay for the shipping and handling there AND back!

If you want to fix the Xbox yourself you are going to need a comprehensive and easy to understand guide. The perfect Xbox360 repair guide is the 3 Red Lights Fix guide. It is guaranteed to get your Xbox 360 working again within an hour. If it does not satisfy you in any way, you can send it back for a full refund no questions asked, and they offer great customer support.

Xbox is no doubt a beautiful machine allowing adults and minors to have extreme fun in their leisure time. But this playful machine can have a number of problems and mishaps a child is unable to understand and repair. If you’re receiving no video error on your Xbox, then this guide will really help you to detect the all possible problems and get them repaired with the least possible headache. Initially, there can be a number of problems that can become the reason for the failure of your machine. The most common of such problems are overheating of the system. Many electronic machines get overheated if not kept under proper cooling climate. This overheating can even ruin the electronic components of the circuit. Therefore, first of all, you should be very careful for the place where you keep your Xbox console and other related hardware. It should be cool enough and should not get overheated. Other most common problem could the ‘freezing’. But you should not worry about these mishaps and problems. There are a lot of tactics and method which you can employ to make your Xbox rework.

Why no video error?

The no video error on your Xbox can be due to many reasons. Most common of them has already been stated. Your Xbox console can really get overheated and hence stop working with its video hardware. No video error can also be due to the reason of a damaged chip that you may have inserted for the game. Therefore you should beware of when buying games stuff for your Xbox. No matter what error you get, you should try to get rid of it as soon as possible.

What is the best option to fix Xbox?

The best, cheapest and the most reliable way to get your Xbox repaired is the Microsoft repair center. They offer some state of the art facilities to repair your expensive Xbox. Instead of entering by yourself with a screw driver and few nuts, you should take your Xbox to the Microsoft repair center. If your Xbox is within the warranty time period, Microsoft will send you a new Xbox or if it is possible to repair your older Xbox, then they can do it much reliably. But, if unfortunately has passed out the warranty time, which is usually a year, then it is hard to avail with the opportunity of getting a new Xbox. But you should acknowledge the Microsoft takes good enough time before it returns the repaired Xbox to your home. So, if you are really unable to live without games, then you should go for some other deliberated option.

Repair Guide – Repair yourself at home:

If your Xbox is out of warranty and you really want to have some hands-on on your Xbox, then you should really get a screw driver. This time, you are going to have a no video error repair guide with you. This guide will be easily available from Microsoft as well as other vendors. But you are required to repair the machine on your own responsibility. A proper study of repair guide can really repair your Xbox console form no video error.

Many people consider the Xbox 360 to be far better than the PS3, and in many respects this is true. However, there are some errors with the Xbox 360 that may leave some gamers scratching their heads, trying to fix them. One such error is the despised red light error, also known as the “red ring of death”. As if the name does not do it justice enough, the effects of this error live up to the name with ease! This error usually causes you Xbox 360 to freeze every time you turn it on, and it generally renders your console unusable.

This error is normally caused by dust build up on the microchips and overheating of the console. There are a number of ways it can be fixed, and it really doesn’t take that much money or time either. Really, any method would be better than having to buy a new console or pay for a repair shop or Microsoft to fix it for you. SO, you think you can fix it yourself? Well of course you can, as long as you have a brain in your head, you are probably capable of fixing your Xbox 360.

A lot of people use the temporary fix known as the “towel method” in which they just place a cold damp towel on the machine, letting it cool down. While this fix actually does work, you can rest assured that the problem will return after a couple of days of gameplay. So, how in the world do you fix the problem permanently? Well you are going to need a couple of things first. You are going to need a couple of household tools, and a good guide to walk you through th process. That is unless you are one of those types of people that enjoys figuring things out by yourself, and then paying for whatever it is you mess up.

Say what?… You’re not one of those people that enjoys replacing items because of your own ignorance? Oh okay, that’s what I thought. So what guide should you get you may ask. By far the easiest guide to follow that is guaranteed to have your Xboc360 up and running again in less than an hour, is the 3 Red Lights Fix guide. This guide is guaranteed to work or your money back, so you really have nothing to lose by getting it. Of course you could always opt to pay $100+ to have it fixed…

A lot of people love to play their Xbox360 for hours on end. This is the exact reason why so many people get errors with their console, they are simply playing it entirely to much, causing it to overheat and become a victim to a slew of possible errors. When most people get an error on the Xbox 360 they do a quick internet search. After a quick search you find out you have a couple of repair options to choose from.

What you should try not do:
1.	You can take it to a local repair shop and have it fixed for one hundred plus dollars, taking the risk that the person fixing it damage it even more, thereby voiding your warranty completely.
2.	You can send it back to Microsoft and have them repair it for you, in which case you will wait months to get your console back, and if your 90 day warranty has expired you are going to pay $140 PLUS the shipping and handling there AND back! Doesn’t sound too appealing huh?
3.	You can throw the console out and buy a new one, spending another 300+ on a new console for absolutely no reason whatsoever. How frustrating would it be if the next console got an error too? What are you going to do, keep throwing away consoles when they could easily be fixed?
4.	You can try to find a temporary fix in order to make your console work for a short period of time, only to have it error out on your again within a couple of days. How much of a let down would that be?
What you SHOULD do:

The smartest option you have is to fix it yourself PERMANENTLY. You may be saying “But I don’t know enough to fix it and I am afraid I will mess it up even worse”… The fact of the matter is, you do not need to know anything at all to fix your console. You just need to have the right guide and a little bit of common sense! If you are experiencing the Red Light error, which is the most common error on the Xbox 360, then I would recommend you get the 3 Red lights Fix guide. It is guaranteed to have your Xbox 360 up and running again within one hour or your money back!

To you, this is most likely a major issue, and I bet you have even considered having to buy a completely new console altogether. Well before you do that, it would be wise to try and fix it yourself, after all with the knowledge we can give you, it really is not as hard as you would think.

I know someone who actually bought a new one because she had the dreaded ring of death problem. Guess what happened. She wound up going through the same exact problem with the second one! Some people even send their console to Microsoft and pay $140 plus the shipping there and back just to have this problem fixed, and it takes MONTHS to get their console back! Others take their console to a local repair shop and pay $100+ to have it fixed. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could just fix it yourself and save yourself all of that time and money? Well you can!

The red light error is usually caused by overheating and/or dust build up. This can easily be fixed with a little bit of knowledge and some household tools. You will need an in depth and easy to understand guide though. The best guide to help you with this is by far the 3 Red Lights Fix guide. It is backed by a money back guarantee, so if at anytime you are not satisfied with the results, then all you have to do is request a refund, and it will be granted no questions asked.

The Xbox360 has a number of error messages that appear whenever your console has something wrong with it. The problem is, most people have no clue what these errors mean! So what are these errors that I speak of? Usually the error codes start in E (presumably for Error) and then there is a short series of numbers after the E. There is a good bit of them, so maybe this list will help you determine what is wrong with your console, and get you on your way to fixing it.

E 79 Error: This is usually an error of the hard drive, if you have this error you should try contacting customer support.

E 76 Error: This is a code for an unknown error. I know that is not very helpful, but that is what it stands for. Usually there are other errors that may pop up in conjunction with this one, if you have this error then you should contact customer support.

E 74 Error: This error is usually a problem with the scalar chip or the AV cable because of over heating. If you have this error try unplugging everything and letting the console cool down for a while. If this doesn’t work then call customer service.

E 73 Error: This is an error involving the Ethernet port, the port may be broken or there may have been an incorrect installation before you bought the console.

E 72 Error: This is also an unknown error, and you should have a professional look at this.

E 71 Error: This is a general error, reboot the Xbox.

E 69 Error: This is a hard drive error, do the same thing you would do for the E 67 error.

E 68 Error: This is an overheating problem, usually caused by poor air circulation.

E 67 Error: Hard drive error, try taking out the removable drive and then putting it back in, make sure the console is off first.

E 66 Error: This is a DVD drive error that is probably related to the firmware. This usually happens when people try to mod their console.

E 65 Error: This is another DVD drive error, and it is usually because the drive is not closed all the way. Or it could be because the tray is broken somehow.

E 64: Error: This is another DVD drive error the results from a fault in the internal drive wiring of the Xbox360.

E 45 Error: This is a dashboard error, there are pretty easy ways to fix this.

This may not be all of the errors that the Xbox360 can have. One of the worst, if not the worst, error that is not on this list, is the “red light error”. This is when 3 lights flash by the power button, signifying a problem with the CPU or GPU of the console. Usually when this happens, your Xbox360 is rendered unusable, until it is dealt with. If you unsure how to deal with this problem, then you should download the 3 Red lights Fix and you’ll be playing again within an hour. You should also browse this site and read some of the free info if you are looking for another error that is not shown here.
